Everything has to be made by someone. WHO MADE YOUR BREAKFAST THIS MORNING? WHO MADE TREES? WHO MADE THE SKY? WHO MADE YOU?
The Bible says: "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for YOU CREATED ALL THINGS, and by your will they were created and have their being." Revelation 4:11 The Bible says that God created all things? WHAT DOES THE WORD "CREATED" MEAN? WHO CREATED ALL THINGS?
IF GOD CREATED ALL THINGS, HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO KNOW GOD? Knowing God is the most important thing in the world. If you had al the money in the world, were the smartest person, the best-looking person, the best at sports and didn’t know God, it wouldn’t mean much. Nothing is as important as knowing God (Luke 12:16-21)
WHAT DO WE DO IN CHRISTIAN EDUCATION OR RELIGION CLASS? We get to know who God is AND we get to know Him. So Christian Education is a very important class.
In Christian Education class we will do things that teach us about God and how to love and obey Him.
We will:
1) Talk to God by praying to Him.
2) Listen to true stories from the Bible
3) Learn how God wants us to act, how to obey obey Him
4) Learn verses from the Bible. God wrote the Bible
5)Worship and praise God by singing songs about Him and to Him
WHAT IS GOD LIKE? WHAT DO WE ALREADY KNOW ABOUT GOD?
1) He is wise. God knows everything about everything. He made everything and He understands everything. He knows everything. He knows everything that has happened in the past and He knows everything that will happen in the future. He even knows what we are thinking.
2) He is everywhere. He knows everything that is going on everyplace.
3) God is love. God does everything out of love. He is kind to everyone. He is just like good parents–He even disciples us when we need toi be disciplined for our own good. He doesn’t want anyone to perish; to wants everyone to come to know Him.
4) Everything is possible with God. He can do anything. Some things He will not do because He knows they are not the best thing to do.
