A: "I can do better than that!"

"Oh," said the little boy. "I prayed to Jesus and said that if He would give me a red wagon for Christmas, I would give Him a ride around the block." 

A pastor, a nurse and an engineer were taken captive because of their belief in Jesus. They were brought to the guillotine and given a final chance to renounce their faith in Jesus or else be beheaded. 

The pastor was given a chance to say some final words. He said, "Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego wouldn’t bow down before the image King Nebuchadnezzar had made (Daniel 3). Since they would rather be thrown into the fiery furnace than renounce their faith in God, I won’t renounce my faith either."

The executioners put him under the guillotine. It came crashing down, but stopped a few inches before his head. "This must be a miracle," said the executioners. "Since your God has spared you, we will let you go."

The nurse was given a chance to say some final words. She said, "Daniel wouldn’t stop praying to God when the law was made that he could only pray to King Darius (Daniel 6). Since he would rather be thrown into the lion’s den than renounce his faith in God, I won’t renounce my faith either."

The executioners put her under the guillotine. It came crashing down, but stopped a few inches before her head. "This must be a miracle," said the executioners. "Since your God has spared you, we will let you go."

The engineer was given a chance to say some final words. "Well, if you would untie the knot in the rope of that guillotine, it would work better."
